Welder / Fabricator – We’re Open to Different Experience Levels

Know your way around a welder? Good with your hands? We’d like to talk.

Regala is looking for several people to join our fabrication team in Toowoomba.

We build custom gates and fencing, and because much of our work is made to order, there’s plenty of variety. One day you might be fabricating a large cantilever gate, the next building fencing panels or working through a completely custom job.

We’re not looking for one particular type of candidate.

You might be:

• An experienced welder/fabricator looking for a change

• A good MIG welder without formal qualifications

• Someone from a mechanical, agricultural or trade background

• A practical person with some welding experience who wants to get better

If you can already fabricate and weld well, great.

If you have the right attitude, good practical ability and some welding experience, we’re happy to teach you the rest.

The work

You’ll be involved in:

• MIG welding mild steel and aluminum

• Fabricating sliding, swing and cantilever gates

• Building fencing panels and custom components

• Reading basic fabrication drawings

• Measuring, cutting, welding and assembling

• Fitting gate hardware and automation equipment

• Solving the odd one-off fabrication challenge

Most of the work is in our Toowoomba workshop, with occasional opportunities to help our installation team on site.

A forklift licence or White Card is handy, but neither is essential.
