Property Manager Assistant

About the role

Accommodate With Collective, the property management division of Collective Property Agents, is looking for a Part-Time Assistant Property Manager to join the growing team. You will work closely with the Property Manager focusing primarily on leasing and providing support across the day-to-day management of the portfolio. This is an opportunity to join a business focused on quality over quantity — building strong landlord relationships, providing excellent service and creating a property management division that is sustainable for both clients and the team.

Key responsibilities

• Leasing duties, including open homes on Saturdays

• Processing applications and preparing tenancy documentation

• Onboarding of new managements

• Communicating with landlords, tenants and trades

• Coordinating maintenance requests and following up repairs

• Assisting with lease renewals and tenancy management

• Assisting with entry and exit inspections and reporting

• Maintaining accurate records and well-managed files

• General property management administration and portfolio support

About you

• Ideally has at least 1 year of residential property management experience in Queensland

• Holds a current QLD Real Estate Registration Certificate or Licence

• Has a sound understanding of Queensland tenancy legislation, or is keen to continue developing their knowledge

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

• Proactive, reliable and solutions-focused

• A confident and professional communicator

• Comfortable dealing with landlords, tenants and trades

• Able to manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure

• Positive, friendly and approachable

• A team player who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to the office environment
