No insurance experience is required. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Full on-the-job training will be provided.

This is an in-office role. It is a part-time position (approximately 28 hours per week), with flexibility available for the right candidate. Full time hours can also be facilitated if required for the candidate.

The Role

As a Claims Support Officer, you'll work closely with our Claims Manager and Claims Officers, helping clients through the insurance claims process from lodgement through to settlement.

While prior experience is advantageous, it is not critical as on the job training and paid courses are provided. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys helping people, is highly organised, and wants to build a professional career.

What You'll Be Doing

Claims Administration & Support

• Assisting with the day-to-day administration of insurance claims

• Preparing and managing claim documentation

• Updating claims records and maintaining accurate data

• Following up outstanding information and claim updates

• Liaising with clients, insurers, assessors, repairers, and other stakeholders

• Providing regular updates to clients throughout the claims process

• Assisting clients in gathering information required to progress claims

• Supporting the Claims Manager and Claims Officers with administration and reporting

• Working collaboratively with our broking and administration teams

• Providing administration and reception support within the business, as required

• Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both clients and colleagues.

• Customer Service Focus: You genuinely care about helping people and providing exceptional service. Our claims team supports clients through difficult situations at times.

• Attention to Detail: A commitment to accuracy, ensuring all records are correct and service remains top-notch.

• Positive Attitude: An energetic, enthusiastic, and "can-do" spirit that positively influences the office culture.

• Qualifications: Completion of Year 12 (or equivalent).
