Kitchen Hand - Melbourne Museum

We are looking for experienced kitchen hands to join The Fresh Collective team in Melbourne. Responsibilities include hands on food preparation and cleaning duties to support our culinary brigade located at the Melbourne Museum.

The Role

Basic kitchen duties as requested by the Head Chef, including: 

• General washing up 
• Basic food preparation 
• Cleaning of kitchen equipment 
• Cleaning of kitchen surrounds 
• Deep cleaning

About You

• Prior hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment with knowledge of food hygiene 
• Available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, weekdays only 
• A responsible person who shows initiative 
• Hard working, physically fit and reliable – able to lift 10-15kgs comfortably 
• Good communication skills 
• In possession of valid Australian working rights
