About the role

B Noticed Interiors and Insulation pty ltd is seeking an Insulation Installer to join our growing team in Canberra, ACT. This is a casual position offering flexible work opportunities in the building trades sector. As an Insulation Installer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality insulation solutions to residential and commercial properties across the Canberra region. Your work will directly contribute to improving energy efficiency, comfort and sustainability for our clients whilst supporting our reputation for excellence in the insulation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Installing various types of insulation materials including batts, blankets, blown-in and spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings

• Measuring and preparing work areas to ensure accurate insulation placement and coverage

• Following safety protocols and building codes to maintain a safe work environment on all job sites

• Operating and maintaining insulation installation equipment and tools in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

• Collaborating with supervisors, contractors and other tradespeople to coordinate work schedules and project timelines

• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met and addressing any deficiencies

• Transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites as required

• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used on each project

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as an Insulation Installer or in a similar insulation labour role within the building trades

• Sound knowledge of different insulation materials, installation techniques and industry best practices

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces where necessary

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and building plans

• Current understanding of relevant Australian Building Standards and safety regulations

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to attend multiple job sites across the Canberra region

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to take direction from supervisors

• Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules as required for a casual position

• Desirable: Relevant qualifications or certifications in insulation installation, workplace health and safety, or building trades
