The role

An established Melbourne luxury injectables clinic is opening its second site in the south east in late November, and it needs an injector to open it. Four treatment rooms, a name clients already trust, a group with the backing to do this properly, and a chair that is yours from the first client.

This clinic was built around natural results, skin health, and the kind of consultation most places no longer make time for. Skin analysis technology in every consult. Treatment plans that run across years, not appointments. No discount model. No volume targets. Clients who already invest properly in their skin and come back because the work is refined rather than obvious.

Injectables only. Anti-wrinkle, dermal filler, and skin boosters, to a very high standard, with consultations to an even higher one. Nobody is going to hand you a laser.

What you actually get

Paid, full-time, to learn it before you open it. From September you are on the payroll at the group's existing Melbourne clinic. Not a two day induction. Weeks working alongside and shadowing the injectors who built the concept, learning the consultation, the technology, the products and the way this clinic treats a client, before you see your first one at the new site. Almost nobody in this industry will pay you full time to get that good at their model before they need you to perform in it. This group will.

Hourly rate negotiable on experience, plus commission in a clinic where commission means something. Premium clients, longer consultations, considered plans, and a spend per client that makes the commission real rather than decorative. You are not being asked to sell. You are being asked to consult well, and paid properly when you do.

Permanent. Leave, super, security. Part time through to full time, your call. Four days if you want four. Five if you want five.

The second site, and still early. There is one clinic today. This is the second and it is the start of the rollout, not the end of it. The injectors who joined the first site got in at the beginning, and when it was recruited the response from injectors across Melbourne was bigger than anyone expected. Those people are still there. When the third site opens and the group needs someone who already knows the model to lead it, you will be one of a handful who does.

The week

Tuesday to Saturday. Saturdays are every week rather than rotating, and the clinic runs longer hours through peak periods, so there will be times of year when the days stretch. If you are already working a Saturday roster somewhere that treats the work as transactional, this is the move to somewhere that treats it as clinical.

Who they are looking for

• A Registered Nurse with current unrestricted AHPRA registration and Australian working rights

• Three to four years of hands on cosmetic injecting. Two is enough if your work is exceptional and you can show it

• Experience with a premium or discerning clientele, and the confidence to run a proper consultation rather than a quick one

• A natural, refined aesthetic, and the judgement to say no when no is the right answer

• Strong consultation, treatment planning, consent, documentation, and complication escalation

• A real interest in skin, because here injectables are one part of a skin health conversation, not the whole of it

• The presentation and energy to be the face of a premium clinic in front of its clients every day

It helps, though it is not essential, if you have worked in a luxury, plastic surgery or dermatology led setting, if you came to nursing from skincare or beauty, or if you have opened a site or built a client base from nothing before.

Who this is not for

Anyone who needs Monday to Friday. Anyone who sees Saturdays as a favour rather than the job. Anyone who wants to be left alone in a room to inject and let someone else do the talking. The consultation matters here as much as the needle.

Support

You are not opening this on your own. The clinic runs on an established clinical governance and prescribing framework, with documented protocols, product education and ongoing training built in. The first site has been trading for some time, the systems and escalation pathways are proven, and you will have spent weeks inside them before you open.
