About the role
We are seeking a full time or part time dedicated, motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team in the Northern Beaches. This is a diverse and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across finance, administration, and business support functions in a fast-paced events environment. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business while also contributing to process improvement initiatives. For part time, minimum 3 days, availability to work on Fridays is essential.

What you'll be doing

• Accounts payable and receivable processing

• Client invoicing and reconciliations

• Issuing invoices and managing debtor follow-ups

• Maintaining accurate financial records

• Assisting with month-end reporting

• General finance and administration support

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures

 What we're looking for

• Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Experience in an accounting or finance role

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)

• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
