About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and
enthusiastic professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for
community engagement. The Legal Education Lawyer plays a pivotal part in
empowering individuals and communities through accessible and engaging legal
education. This position helps increase public awareness and understanding of
State and Commonwealth laws, as well as the services offered by Legal Services.
You will participate in community engagement initiatives and events, ensuring legal information reaches those who need it most. In addition to this, you will be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of community legal education and training programs.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through community legal education and engagement, helping individuals and communities better understand and navigate legal issues.

You are an adaptable professional who is committed to improving access to justice, fostering strong community relationships, and delivering positive outcomes for priority client groups.

Salary Range
Appointment will be made based on your experience at either the LSC1 or LSC2 classification.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Legal Services is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.
Position Status
Temporary 12 month contract available at the LSC1 or LSC2 classification level.
