About The Role
This is a newly created opportunity to support continuous improvement, innovation, and growth in the recruitment space. As the Recruitment Support Officer, you will provide high-quality recruitment administration and coordination services across the organisation, while supporting the effective management of recruitment systems, processes, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders on recruitment-related processes, policies, and systems.Manage end-to-end recruitment administration, including providing support to hiring managers and managing recruitment activities within Council’s HR systems.Support compliance requirements and ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures.Prepare recruitment correspondence, documentation, and employment records in line with organisational standards.Deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience through timely, professional communication and support.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide support for broader People & Culture projects and activities as required.
What You’ll Bring
A positive, customer-focused approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage challenging situations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels of the organisation.A proactive mindset and a passion for improving processes and delivering quality outcomes.Well-developed problem-solving skills, with the ability to use initiative and sound judgement within established frameworks.Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, and/or demonstrated experience in a similar recruitment, HR administration, or coordination role.Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
