TRUCK DRIVERS – FLOAT, TRUCK & DOG

About the role

You will be responsible for operating Float or Truck & Dog combinations to transport plant, equipment, and construction materials safely and efficiently between project sites while maintaining compliance with all transport regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operating Float or Truck & Dog combinations between civil project sites

• Transporting plant, machinery, quarry materials, soil and other civil materials

• Safely loading, unloading and securing machinery and materials

• Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance

• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and serviceability

• Managing delivery schedules and site movements efficiently

• Complying with all Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements

• Completing all required documentation including logbooks, pre-starts, and delivery dockets

• Working closely with site supervisors and project teams to support operations

About you

• Demonstrated experience operating Float and/or Truck & Dog combinations

• Current White Card (Construction Induction)

• Float Drivers must hold a current unrestricted MC Licence

• Truck & Dog Drivers must hold a current unrestricted HC Licence or above

• Strong understanding of load restraint, transport compliance, and fatigue management

• Civil construction or quarry haulage experience highly regarded

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, safety-focused, and motivated attitude
