About the role
THE ROLE
An exciting and unique opportunity exists to join the Reform and Engagement team as a Senior Policy Officer to lead on work to respond to the children and families related findings of the Yoorrook Justice Commission.
This role will lead and support Aboriginal-led and self-determined policy design and delivery, contributing to strengthened self-determination for Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, and supporting improved outcomes for Aboriginal children and families associated with Victoria's Child Protection, Care Services and Child and Family Services system.
This role will be well suited to a dynamic team player and highly organised individual with excellent verbal communication, project management and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of Victoria's Child Protection and Family Services systems. The ideal candidate will require strong policy, written and stakeholder engagement skills.
