Civil contractor delivering water and utilities infrastructure projects across Sydney, with a strong pipeline of work on Sydney Water projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer ready to take the next step toward a Project Manager role.

The business places a strong emphasis on internal progression and will actively support and develop the right candidate toward that career path.

The Role

• Deliver civil/utilities works on Sydney Water infrastructure projects
• Support project planning, programming and day-to-day site delivery
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site resourcing
• Assist with cost tracking, variations and reporting
• Liaise with clients, designers and internal project teams
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on program and to specification
• Contribute to continuous improvement across delivery processes

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within civil/utilities/water infrastructure
• Experience on Sydney Water or similar utility projects highly regarded
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ambition and drive to progress into a Project Manager role
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
