Forklift Operator

The Role

Join our dedicated yard team at Adbri Masonry as a Forklift Operator, where you’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient handling and dispatch of our masonry products.

This role is based at our Townsville site and offers full-time, permanent employment. You’ll need to be flexible with start times to support yard operations, with occasional Saturday shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and load/unload trucks safely
• Maintain clean, safe, and organised yard
• Package and dispatch products to quality standards
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory control
• Complete basic paperwork and report hazards/incidents
• General labouring / duties within the yard

What You Will Need to Succeed

• Valid forklift licence with experience in forklift operation
• Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
• Confident communicator with team members and other staff
• Committed to maintaining high safety, health, and environmental standards
• Knowledge of safe and proper manual handling techniques
