Planting Team Leader

Jungle Busters is one of South East Queensland’s leading commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance teams, looking after some of the region’s most high-profile outdoor spaces.

We’re looking for an experienced Planting Team Leader to join our landscaping team, based from our Lawnton Depot.

This role suits someone who can do more than simply know the job. We need a leader who can organise a crew, set the pace, maintain quality and make sure the work gets done safely and properly.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading a crew undertaking commercial planting and landscaping works
• Coordinating day-to-day activities on site
• Setting clear expectations and keeping the team productive
• Reading the job, planning ahead and making sure materials and equipment are used effectively
• Maintaining quality and presentation standards
• Ensuring work is completed safely and in line with site requirements
• Working alongside the crew when required — this is a hands-on leadership role

What we’re looking for

You’ll need:

• Certificate III in Horticulture
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong practical horticulture and landscaping knowledge
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Current White Card
• Confidence directing and motivating a crew
• Good communication and organisation skills
• A strong focus on safety, productivity and quality
