The exciting opportunity as our Director of Nursing

• Focus on managing daily operations at our 87-bed Canberra aged care home in Lyneham
• Oversight of the budget; optimise revenue and manage costs to achieve organisational targets
• Manage the roster; ensure adequate staffing levels to meet consumers’ needs and care minute requirements
• Maximise occupancy by building valuable connections with external stakeholders
• Lead and develop a high performing clinical and operations team and uphold the established positive workplace culture

• Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining productive relationships with residents and their families and managing feedback
• Create and implement quality initiatives to support a culture of continuous improvement and achieve accreditation compliance 
• Maintain an environment where safe, effective, and high-quality care is delivered to our aged care residents, and their needs are consistently met

About you

• AHPRA Registered Nurse and successful track record as a Director of Nursing / Facility Manager in residential aged care
• Strong financial acumen with a proven ability managing budgets and resources, and maximising occupancy
• Successful track record achieving compliance against the aged care quality standards
• Fair, kind, motivational and empowering manager who leads a collaborative team and maintains a positive workplace culture
• Committed to person-centred, relationship-based care that upholds the dignity and respect of all residents
