About the role
As a Fabricator / Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, fabricating and assembling steel components, and performing high-quality welding to meet customer specifications. You'll work both independently and as part of a supportive team in a well-equipped workshop.
Key responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel and metal components.
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to a high standard.
Operate fabrication equipment including guillotines, press brakes, drills, milling machine & lathes.
Ensure all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Assist with on-site installation work when required.
About you
Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Fabricator.
Proven welding and fabrication experience.
Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Current driver's licence.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Forklift, confined space or Working at Heights tickets are advantageous but not essential.
