About the role

We are seeking a Solicitor to join Michel + White Lawyers in Gunnedah, NSW on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified legal practitioner to become part of our established team and contribute to our continued success. As a Solicitor, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal advice and services to our diverse client base across multiple practice areas. You will work alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive environment that values professional development and client excellence.

About Gunnedah

What we're looking for

Essential

• Current NSW practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one) and admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales or an equivalent Australian jurisdiction.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and case analysis.

• Professional approach to client service and relationship management.

• Ability to manage multiple matters concurrently and meet deadlines.

• Sound judgement and the ability to provide practical, commercially-minded legal advice.

• Willingness to develop expertise across various practice areas within a generalist firm.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all legal work.

Desirable

• Demonstrated experience practising as a solicitor, preferably in a general practice environment.
