The Opportunity  

Our beautiful hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and helpful Porter to join our Concierge team on a Part-Time basis. As a key player within our Concierge Department, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, therefore great people skills are a must!

Your day-to-day:

• Greet and attend to all guests upon arrival and departure, be the first and last point of contact!
• Provide helpful, friendly and personalized service, attending to guest errands and requests.
• Handle guest luggage; delivering bags and luggage to the relevant rooms where necessary.
• Provide accurate information on the hotel and restaurants within the group.
• Valet Park guest cars as required.
• Have sound knowledge of public transport, local attractions, restaurants and events going on around Melbourne/Victoria region.

Our successful candidate will have:

• One year experience in a similar role or 5-star hotel environment.
• Australian Manual Drivers License a must.
• A real passion for delivering positive outcomes.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Communication and time management skills.
• Exceptional eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• Previous Opera knowledge will be highly regarded.
