Drummond Street Services is a not-for-profit, non-denominational agency with over 130 years of delivering innovative services that strengthen families and communities across Victoria. We provide family services, mental health and wellbeing support, relationship counselling, parenting programs, and specialist services that reflect the diversity of the communities we work alongside.
We are committed to creating meaningful change through evidence-informed and trauma-informed practice. Our work is grounded in social justice and inclusion, supporting our teams to deliver services that are responsive to the needs of children, young people, individuals, families, and communities.
Join Queerspace’s Family Violence Response team as a Therapeutic Family Violence Practitioner working across the Futures Free From Violence (FFFV) and Living Free From Violence (LFFV) programs.
Both programs support women, trans and gender diverse people who have used force and/or violence in family and intimate partner relationships, providing opportunities to understand patterns of violence and work towards change through structured therapeutic group and individual interventions.
FFFV is a statewide program supporting clients across Victoria, while LFFV supports people incarcerated at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre.
Working alongside the Family Violence Response Senior Practitioner and Team Leader, you will provide comprehensive assessment, therapeutic group and individual interventions, case work and other interventions as agreed through supervision. You will work collaboratively with other DS and Queerspace programs as part of our integrated service response model.
Please review the Position Description, which outlines the full list of responsibilities and key selection criteria.
