Synergie Australia is seeking Civil Construction Workers filling multiple contracts in the Cairns and Cardwell areas:

State Government Contract – Civil Works

• Civil Construction Workers
• Plant Operators (Excavator, Roller, Grader & Final Trim)
• Must have Open drivers license - Truck license beneficial (MR or HR)
• Civil Labourers / Civil Field Workers (Pipe laying, concrete works, timber works, pressure washing)

Local Government Contract – Parks & Gardens

• Parks & Gardens Labourers
• Civil Field Workers

Experience is essential for all roles, specific tickets and competencies will be discussed during the recruitment process.

These roles are ideal for someone with a background in civil works, particularly road construction, who is looking to contribute to a dynamic team environment. The work is physically demanding, may include both day and night shifts, with weekend work as required. A strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and adaptability are essential.

The important parts:

• Role: Civil Construction Workers / Plant Operators / Labourers / Parks & Gardens Workers / Civil Field Workers
• Location: Cairns or Cardwell (RoadTek project, Local Council): 
  - Leading Hand (Cairns) directing work crews and organising labour, plant and materials. Must understand Road construction, pavement rehabilitation, drainage and eartworks and be able to work efficiently driving team performance.
  - Labourer to work in road construction, road maintenance with one of our Government clients carrying out structure servicing work in the Cowley/Cardwell area - must have truck license, civil experience and traffic control experience/ticket. Other duties may involve whipper snipping, weed spraying, water blasting.
• Shifts: Predominantly Monday to Friday, may include night shift and / or weekends
• Some roles require working away from home – Monday to Friday (accommodation and meals included) –

Key Requirements:

• RII Tickets for Plant Operators
• Driving licence (preferably MR licence)
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour in varying conditions
• Experience working in civil construction environments
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed (kilometer allowance)
• Ability to Work away from home
• Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and positive attitude
• Ability to work well within a high-performing civil crew
• Willingness to participate in formal training and development programs
• Pre-employment medical assessment and police check required
