Senior Electrical Project Manager

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Regional Electrical Director, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering optimal project outcomes across the full lifecycle of Electrical, Communications, and Mechanical infrastructure projects at Downer Energy & Utilities based in Brisbane. 

This role oversees the end-to-end phases of design, construction, delivery, and commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in driving performance, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organisational requirements.

What we are looking for 

• Tertiary qualification specialised in Electrical Sectors 

• Tertiary qualification in Project Management

   

• Leadership qualification
• Minimum 10 years of complex project management experience within the Construction sector specifically Water
• Demonstrated experience in Management of safety, quality and environmental issues
• Management of HR and IR issues
• Sub-contractor management
• Financial management and reporting, including budgeting and forecasting
• Production & Productivity reporting
• Proven team management and leadership experience
• Proven direct workforce management

• Demonstrated experience driving & achieving results
