About the role
Are you an experienced policy leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and is passionate about making a tangible difference to Victorian communities? Join DEECA as Manager, Emergency Management Policy and Partnerships, where you will lead a high-performing team driving emergency management policy for critical issues facing Victoria, and strengthening partnerships across government and the emergency management sector. You will provide expert advice to senior executives and governance forums, lead priority policy projects, coordinate sector engagement, and help shape a more coordinated, capable and resilient emergency management system for Victoria.
We are seeking a strategic and highly capable leader with extensive experience in public policy and people management. Success in this role will require sound judgement, strong leadership, the ability to anticipate emerging risks and opportunities, and a commitment to developing and empowering others. Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available until 22/10/2027. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.
