senior hr / people project lead

We are seeking an experienced People Project Lead (Senior HR Manager, Strategic HR Business Partner, People Project Lead, or equivalent) to drive high-impact strategic initiatives. Partnering closely with the Head of People and senior People Directors, this role requires an autonomous leader who can translate complex, ambiguous challenges into clear plans and tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead complex programs of work end-to-end from initial concept and framework design through to implementation and governance.

• Hands-on Execution: Directly deliver work products, including process design, data analysis, presentations, communications, and operational frameworks.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Confidently engage, influence, and challenge senior leaders and operational stakeholders across the business.

• Cross-Disciplinary Integration: Connect work streams across HR transformation, workforce strategy, organisational design, employee experience, and M&A / post-merger integration.

• Capacity Enhancement: Provide high-level advisory and delivery support to executive People leadership, taking complete ownership of strategic work streams.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in senior-level HR roles managing large-scale organisational change, HR operating models, ER/IR, or complex integrations.

• Capabilities: Strong project and program management skills with a bias for action and delivery over pure advisory.

• Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to synthesise complex issues into pragmatic, actionable solutions with minimal direction.

• Industry Background: Experience in healthcare, multisite, highly regulated sectors, or complex enterprise environments is desirable, but strong transferable expertise will be considered.
