The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity is available for an Associate to Senior Associate Family Lawyer to join an established and growing Sydney team.

This role would suit a lawyer who wants to work on interesting and challenging family law matters while being part of an environment that provides the support, flexibility and career development needed to build a long-term career.

You will have the opportunity to manage your own matters with appropriate autonomy while working alongside experienced practitioners on more complex files.

For a Senior Associate, there is scope to take on greater responsibility across complex matters, client relationships, mentoring and team development.


The Work
The practice advises across a broad range of family law matters, including:

• Complex property and financial settlements
• Parenting and children's matters
• Divorce and separation
• Binding Financial Agreements
• Spousal maintenance
• Child support
• Negotiations and mediations
• Court proceedings and litigation
• Drafting agreements, affidavits and court documents

The level of autonomy and complexity will be tailored to your experience.
About You We are interested in speaking with Family Lawyers operating from Associate through to Senior Associate level.


You will ideally have:

• Solid Australian family law experience
• Experience independently managing matters
• Strong exposure to parenting and/or property matters
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Litigation and dispute resolution experience
• Confidence managing clients through sensitive and complex matters
• A practical and solutions-focused approach
• An interest in continuing to develop your family law career
