About the role
We require a support person to run the caravan park office 2 days per week, as well as 3 half days of cleaning.
We're a busy caravan park in Melbourne's outer west suburb of Rockbank. We are mainly residential, but do also have tourist sites and tourist cabins.
This is a live-in position - accommodation inside the caravan park is included.
We require someone to work alongside and support our existing Park Managers.
Your primary duties will be running the office on your rostered days, as well as some cleaning.
We operate on a fortnight roster. Your rostered days in the office will be every second Saturday-Tuesday. You will need to be a responsible person with a happy disposition and good customer service skills. On the days you are working in the office, you are responsible for the entire caravan park.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Office (2 days/week) - answering phone, checking people in/out, banking and end of day procedures, as well as general office duties. Computer skills, as well as the ability to work with money/numbers, is essential. On your four days in the office, you will be on duty 24/7 and be responsible for the entire caravan park. This will include after hours duties as required.
Cleaning (3 half days/week) - This will include cleaning of cabins as well as the amenity block. This is approximately 10.5hrs/week. There is also an option to not do the cleaning.
You need to be friendly and capable of working in a team environment as well as being autonomous. On the Managers days off you will be required to perform all the necessary tasks.
Previous caravan park experience is not necessary. All you need is the right attributes and a preparedness to roll your sleeves up...
It is important that you are happy to live and work in a residential caravan park, have good people management skills, a strong work ethic and are fit and healthy.

Gross Wage $780/week + Accommodation + Super
