ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an energetic & driven individual to join our Sydney Customer Service Team. You will be representing a prestigious brand of luxury wines and spirits and must be willing to be committed to giving our customer an experience second to none with a customer is king attitude. The role will require the applicant to express their skills in direct customer contact both written and phone enquiries.

Forget everything you think a customer service role is. This isn't a role where you'll be sitting at a desk reading from a script all day.

Customer Service at Mainfreight is different. You'll be right in the middle of the action, helping customers, solving problems, working with other teams, and learning how a fast-paced transport business runs behind the scenes.

Your role may also extend beyond the office. You could spend time on the floor supporting operational activities, helping coordinate, move, and process freight, and working closely with our warehouse and transport teams to keep freight moving safely and efficiently. This hands-on exposure provides a unique opportunity to understand every aspect of the supply chain and how our business operates.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• SAP software experience favoured. However, all training will be provided on the job.

• At least 2 years customer service experience.

• Supply chain knowledge and experience preferable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Proactive, highly motivated, creative, and able to respond quickly and effectively while being attentive to detail and results-oriented.

• Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Industry experience in Wine & Spirits or Luxury Goods is highly desirable.

• Eagerness & enthusiasm to learn

• Professional, polite & friendly phone manner

• Good listener & Forward thinker

• Reliability, punctuality and good time management skills

• Strong verbal & written communication

• Management of agitated customers and complaints in a positive and professional manner

• Ability to work independently and as a team player
