About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable trade qualified Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join our team in Coburg North.

To be considered for the position applicant must:

• be trade qualified with at least 2 years relevant and recent experience in the field of automotive repairs,

• be able to work productively and efficiently with limited supervision.

• be able to work as part of a team

• work hours 8am to 4:30 pm with overtime when required

• hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence (manual is essential)

 Your responsibilities will include but not limited to assisting with daily workshop operational tasks, performing repairs and maintenance work on vehicles and completing repairs on stolen and smashed vehicles in a timely manner.

We're looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to work well in both team and autonomous settings. A current manual drivers' license is mandatory, and a Roadworthy license is highly regarded but not essential. Attention to detail, ambition to succeed, and a genuine passion for the automotive industry are essential traits we seek in the ideal candidate.
