St John of God Midland Private Hospital
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic General Medical Registrar to join our friendly and supportive team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality clinical care within a collaborative teaching environment, working alongside experienced Consultant staff. You’ll be actively involved in assessing, diagnosing, and managing the medical needs of patients across the service.
You will play an important part in the ongoing care of patients during their hospital stay, contributing to all aspects of their journey. We value a strong team approach, and you will work closely with nursing staff, allied health professionals, pastoral care teams, and fellow clinicians—both onsite and offsite—to provide holistic, patient-centred care.
Full-time, part-time fixed term, and casual opportunities are available from August 2026 and February 2027
Your role
About the new Midland Private Hospital
A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus.
A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region
The hospital will feature:
96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit.
33-bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit
Eight operating theatres.
A cardiac/vascular catheter laboratory
You will be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA), with a minimum of three years’ clinical experience, including at least 12 months within the Australian healthcare system.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in General Medicine who brings clinical and procedural experience appropriate to a Registrar role. You will be confident in your abilities, keen to continue developing your skills, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
