We are a growing business specializing in the repair and maintenance of Heavy Trucks, Trailers and Earthmoving equipment in the Construction Industry. We carry out work both onsite and in the workshop and pride ourselves on our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. As a tight knit team, we value hard work, integrity and a positive attitude. Our work is varied meaning every day is different. Workshop one day, on a major construction site the next. We work on many brands of vehicle and equipment such as Isuzu, Fuso, Hino, Western Star, Freightliner, Kenworth, Volvo, CAT, Cummins, Detroit, Kubota, Hitachi, Komatsu just to name a few.

We are looking for someone to assist with the workflow at our busy workshop repairing and servicing fleets of Trucks and Trailers.

Qualifications & experience

• 1+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic 

• Strong knowledge of fuel, electrical and air systems

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment

• Strong problem solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Breakdown experience advantageous

• HR license advantageous

Tasks & responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on Heavy Diesel Trucks and Trailers

• Perform routine maintenance including servicing and inspections

• Repair and replace faulty components

• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts and maintenance schedules

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations
