SENIOR TAX & BUSINESS SERVICES ACCOUNTANT – BYRON BAY / HYBRID – PUBLIC PRACTICE – 80K-110K+SUPER (JOB ID 1600)

The Role: 

• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS and compliance work  

• Manage a portfolio of business clients across multiple industries  

• Work directly with clients, providing day-to-day accounting support and advice  

• Assist with tax planning and business services engagements  

• Collaborate with partners and senior accountants on advisory matters  

• Maintain accurate records using cloud-based accounting systems  

• Contribute to improving internal processes in a modern, largely paperless environment  

About You: 

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice  

• Accounting qualification (required)  

• Strong Australian experience in business services and tax compliance  

• Proficient in Xero and/or MYOB (including MYOB AE desirable)  

• Experience with QuickBooks advantageous  

• Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills  

• Able to manage deadlines and work both autonomously and within a team  

• Australian working rights essential
