Senior Dental Assistant and Administrator

About the Role

Are you an experienced Dental Assistant looking to step into a senior position? MYTOOTHDOCTOR is seeking a skilled clinical professional to join our team in a dual chairside and front-office capacity.

We have a special interest in Paediatric Dentistry and Special Needs Dentistry, offering in-office relative analgesia and hospital day surgery. In this role, you will play a crucial part in both our clinical operations (theatre, chairside, and sterilisation) and our front-office administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical (Primary): Provide high-level chairside assisting, assist in hospital day surgery theatre, and maintain strict infection control and sterilisation standards.

• Administrative (Secondary): Manage appointment bookings, patient billing, third-party claims, and general front-office reception duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Certificate III in Dental Assisting (minimum required).

• Clinical Experience: 1–2+ years of chairside and theatre dental assisting experience.

• Admin Experience: 1–2+ years of reception or administrative experience in a dental setting.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with dental practice management software, high computer literacy, and billing/third-party claim processing.
