The Business Analyst -AI position is a senior technical role responsible for activities and deliverables that bridge between the Enterprise business stakeholders and UNSW’s AI Program technical delivery teams.
This role will specifically lead the BA activities (requirements, business impacts, process changes, and stakeholder expectations) for the strategic initiative - AI Capability Enablement for Students, Staff and Researchers - OpenAI Strategic Partnership and ChatGPT-Edu Rollout program - that will deliver the OpenAI partnership contract to UNSW from September 2026. The strategic partnership with OpenAI includes priority access to OpenAI resources for all eligible UNSW staff and students and is a priority initiative. The AI Business Analyst role will manage and facilitate the extended rollout of ChatGPT Edu across student and staff cohorts including gathering and documenting technical requirements, supporting the solution design for ChatGPT onboarding and offboarding, and managing the service uplift required to support an enterprise-wide rollout (refer attached Ownership and RACI map).
The Business Analyst reports to the Program Manager and has no direct reports.
