This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the operational delivery of recruitment services across a large and complex workforce. You'll lead recruitment teams, optimise processes, leverage workforce insights, and ensure hiring outcomes align with business priorities across diverse operational environments.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Recruitment, this role is pivotal in translating recruitment strategy into operational execution while ensuring exceptional service delivery across assigned business portfolios.

You will provide leadership to Senior Recruitment Leads and support teams, ensuring recruitment demand, resourcing capacity and talent pipelines are proactively managed to deliver business outcomes. You'll partner closely with operational leaders, People & Culture stakeholders and support functions to drive continuous improvement and workforce planning initiatives.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence recruitment transformation initiatives while delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, capability and candidate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As Recruitment Operations Manager, you will:

• Lead the operational delivery of recruitment services across an assigned portfolio.
• Translate recruitment strategy into operational priorities and workforce plans.
• Build team capability through coaching, mentoring and consistent ways of working.
• Develop and maintain proactive talent attraction and pipelining strategies for high-volume workforce requirements.
• Coordinate recruitment support for contract mobilisations and workforce transition activities.
• Monitor recruitment demand, resource allocation, pipeline performance and service delivery outcomes.
• Drive process optimisation and support recruitment technology and transformation initiatives.
• Use workforce data, analytics and market intelligence to influence decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Ensure recruitment service levels, operational metrics and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders and People & Culture stakeholders to deliver workforce outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced recruitment leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.

You'll bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading recruitment functions within large, complex or matrix-based organisations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment operations, workforce demand planning and customer service delivery.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing recruitment teams.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to leverage workforce data and market insights to drive outcomes.
• Experience leading change, process improvement and recruitment transformation initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple levels of the organisation.
• High levels of resilience, accountability and organisational capability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a customer-focused approach.
