FIFO Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Graduate or Experienced Civil Engineer to join our site-based team delivering rehabilitation, drainage and concrete works at a mine site. This FIFO role is based on an 2/2 roster, working 12 hour days, flying from Perth, and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience early in your career.

Working alongside an experienced site engineer, you will support the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil rehabilitation works, including earthworks and drainage while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and design requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of mine rehabilitation and civil works

• Support the review of designs, drawings, and technical documentation

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and environmental approvals

• Conduct site inspections, surveys, and progress tracking

• Assist with quality control, including inspections, testing, and record keeping

• Liaise with supervisors, contractors, and environmental teams on site

• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with site HSE requirements

• Prepare progress reports and basic engineering documentation

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent), recently completed or graduating by commencement date

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is required prior to commencement

• Interest in earthworks, rehabilitation, and mine-site civil works

• Willingness and ability to work FIFO from Perth on an 2/2 roster

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance

• Proficiency in Microsoft software (e.g. Excel)

• Must hold valid legal work rights in Australia
