Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager Marine and Activities to join our team at Lizard Island Resort. • Assist with developing and planning all marine and land-based activities, including snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, island tours, and cultural experiences 
• Ensure the safety and well-being of team members and guests by enforcing safety regulations and maintaining well-functioning equipment and facilities 
• Help with hiring, training, and supervising team members for marine and tourism activities, ensuring high-quality service and exceptional guest experiences 
• Assist with coordinating all tourism activities, ensuring smooth operation and guest satisfaction 
• Support departmental budgets and implement marketing strategies to promote activities and achieve revenue targets 

• Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, marine science, or a related field 
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, assisting with activities in a hospitality or tourism setting  
• Strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations and protocols 
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer service 
• Certification in relevant marine and tourism activities, such as PADI Dive Master or Instructor, Coxswain Grade 1 or higher, First Aid and CPR, Manuel Drivers Licence, and other relevant certifications
