Are you ready to specialise? My Implant Dentist is one of Australia's leading providers of cosmetic and Implant and Surgical Dentistry — and we're looking for a Dental Assistant who wants more than general chairside experience.

This isn't a general dental practice. Our clinics are built around complex implant and surgical procedures, giving you exposure to advanced techniques and equipment you won't find in a standard dental setting. It's a genuine opportunity to build specialist skills early in your career.

About the Role

Based in our South Perth clinic, you'll work closely with our dentists across a range of surgical and implant procedures. You'll occasionally support our nearby sister clinics too, giving you broader exposure across the group and building relationships with the wider team. Day to day, you'll be:

• Assisting dentists chairside during implant, surgical and general procedures

• Preparing, cleaning and sterilising instruments to top-tier infection control standards

• Greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out, and handling phone and email enquiries

• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments

• Setting up and maintaining treatment rooms and clinical supplies

• Delivering professional, compassionate support to patients throughout their journey

• Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic

You'll receive hands-on training in both surgical assisting and dental administration, giving you a well-rounded skill set that's highly valued across the industry.

• Friendly, confident and professional in your communication

• Well-presented, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable balancing front-desk duties alongside clinical support

• Eager to learn — especially in a more advanced surgical environment

• A team player who's happy to lend a hand at nearby clinics when needed

• Genuinely passionate about patient care and cosmetic/implant dentistry

Previous dental assisting experience is desirable but not essential — full training is provided. A Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting is a bonus.
