About the Role
This is a unique 12-month fixed-term opportunity to lead a high-profile strategic initiative that will shape the future of governance and policy management across the University. As the Policy Remediation Lead, you will drive the review, refresh and consolidation of the University's academic and professional policy framework, ensuring it is contemporary, streamlined, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with legislative requirements and sector best practice.
Working closely with senior leaders, policy owners and stakeholders across the University, you will lead an institution-wide program of reform, providing strategic advice, facilitating consultation and driving meaningful organisational change. Reporting to the Chief Governance Officer and Secretary to Council, this role offers a rare opportunity to influence decision-making at the highest levels while delivering lasting improvements to governance, compliance and operational effectiveness across the institution.
About the Team
The role sits within the Governance and Policy Division in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and President. The division provides leadership in governance, policy management and institutional compliance, supporting effective decision-making across the University.
You will work alongside a collaborative network of governance, transformation, legal and academic leaders who are committed to strengthening the University's governance framework and supporting strategic priorities. With strong executive sponsorship and significant institutional visibility, the team plays a critical role in enabling continuous improvement and organisational excellence.
