The Opportunity 

At Fitness First, our Member Support Consultants (MSCs) are the heartbeat of the club. They’re the first people our members meet, the ones who spark motivation, build confidence and help people take the first step toward becoming stronger, healthier versions of themselves. 

As an MSC at our brand-new Bourke Street Club (opening late 2026), you will play a key role in building a thriving new fitness community during the exciting pre-sales period (and beyond), acting as a brand ambassador for Fitness First's latest premium fitness facility in Melbourne, featuring state-of-the-art strength, cardio & performance zones, Fitness First’s most comprehensive Revive Recovery offering – featuring a 25m swimming pool, cold plunge, magnesium plunge, traditional and infra-red saunas, steam rooms, red light pods, massage chairs and Normatec compression boots, and extensive group fitness facilities – including Ceremony.

Every day brings new conversations, new goals and new opportunities to make an impact. In this role, you’ll drive membership growth through proactive outreach, connecting with people in the community, and inspiring them to start their fitness journey. 

You’ll turn interest into action — introducing people to the club, helping them discover what they’re capable of and showing them how Fitness First can support their goals. At the same time, you’ll build strong relationships with existing members, delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences that keep them motivated and engaged.

As an MSC at Fitness First, your impact is felt every day; through the members you support, the community you build, and the results you help deliver. 

Responsibilities:  

• Proactively contribute to club sales budget utilising sales promotions and referrals campaigns  

• Generating and converting high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals and the identification of new business opportunities  

• Achieving the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities  

• Providing sales presentations and tours to prospective members  

• Creating great member journeys via positive and personalised interactions  

• Achieving successful outcomes to enquiries  

• Opening and closing the club as per the club roster  

• Active involvement in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey  

• Regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged in their journey - recommending club-based products that would boost their results and amplify their experience  

Requirements:  

• Current First Aid & CPR certificate.  
• Proven sales capability

• A problem-solving mindset - you can provide solutions that meet the needs of our potential members  

• A gift for communication - you can talk to anyone with ease, and inspire them to take action  

• Drive - you are goal-focused and continuously looking for new ways to excel yourself  

• A team player - you can rally through the hard times and celebrate personal and team success  

• Customer focused - you can build rapport with people of all backgrounds and are motivated to help them achieve their goals
