About the Role (your why)
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in growing Datacom's Defence business across Canberra and nationally. You'll identify, shape and win strategic opportunities within Defence and the broader Defence Industry, helping customers solve complex challenges through innovative technology solutions.
Working across managed services, cyber security, cloud, applications and digital transformation, you'll engage with senior Defence stakeholders, industry partners and key vendors to drive new business growth and expand Datacom's market presence.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team where you'll have the autonomy to build relationships, influence strategy and contribute directly to some of Australia's most significant Defence technology programs.
This role is based in Canberra. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!
What you’ll bring
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with at least 8+ years’ sales experience working within the Department of Defence and Canberra market. You will be a self-motivated, driven, and a results-orientated team player with a successful track record in sales.
