Job Description

Oaks Port Douglas Resort are looking for a Full-Time Front Office Supervisor who brings proven front office experience, leadership qualities, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences to join the team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Lead and support the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a warm welcome for all guests. Serve as a role model, sharing your expertise and continuously motivating the team to achieve high standards of service. Oversee the completion of daily tasks, ensuring they are executed accurately and in a timely manner. Manage guest arrivals and departures efficiently, ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out experience. Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. Shift Details (subject to change):

Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday Shift times scheduled within 7:00am to 11:00pmImmediate start available

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team; prior supervisory experience is highly regarded. Extensive background in the hospitality industry, ideally within a hotel or resort setting, with a thorough understanding of guest service standards and operations. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a consistently positive and professional demeanour, even in high-pressure situations. Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of duties. Impeccable professional presentation, reflecting the high standards of the organisation. Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to varying schedules, as required by the operational needs of the business.

Additional Information

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience as a waitstaff, bartender, or all-rounder in a hospitality environment. A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification. A warm and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude. Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service. Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills. Reliability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
