Dry Fire Technician

The Role

We are seeking a fire technician to undertake installations, repairs and maintenance of electronic fire detection, alarm and safety systems in Sydney and surrounds.

The ideal candidate will have Fire industry experience or an Electrician.

You will be part of a close-knit team working with a diverse range of clients, sites, systems and equipment including;

• Fire Extinguishers and Fire Blankets

• Hydrants and Hose Reels

• Emergency Lights

• Planned and preventative maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems

• Diagnose and resolve issues on various fire systems

• New installations/fit outs and associated testing and commissioning

• Security system installations and maintenance

Key Competencies

The ideal candidate for the position will possess the following:

• Proven experience in the fire, electrical or security industry

• Programming of fire alarm systems experience

• Proven fire alarm and EWIS system experience

• Knowledge of Australian standards

• High attention to detail and time management skills

• An electrical background is advantageous (Valid electrical licence required)

• Must hold a valid Driver's License

Training will be provided for applicants with an electrical background
