Warehouse Co-ordinator

About the role

Pioneer Electronics Australia is seeking an experienced and organised Warehouse Co-ordinator to join our team in Vermont, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and coordination of our warehouse, ensuring all inventory and logistics processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods

• Monitoring inventory levels and stock movements to optimise space utilisation and minimise out-of-stock situations

• Coordinating the workflow of the warehouse , providing guidance and support as needed

• Implementing and maintaining warehouse procedures and policies to drive continuous improvement

• Liaising with customers, suppliers and other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations to enhance efficiency

• Monitoring and reporting on key warehouse performance metrics

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics coordinator role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or distribution industries

• Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised

• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the warehouse team and cross-functional stakeholders

• Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory control software

• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Forklift licence and experience operating warehouse equipment is highly desirable
