Project Manager

Pebble Mouse Maintenance & Construction is seeking an experienced, organised, and a highly driven Project Manager to join our growing team.

 About the Role

This is a senior, high-impact role for a commercially astute Project Manager with the leadership presence to run major projects end-to-end.  You will be the face of the business, with responsibility for programme delivery, client relationships, team performance, and commercial outcomes.

This is not a desk role. You will be expected to visit project/client sites, with your primary base in Mandurah.

 You will be responsible for coordinating self-perform crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery from submission, award through to handover and completion.

 Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery:

·       Managing the full lifecycle delivery of major mining and civil projects from submission, award, mobilisation through to completion.

·       Directly managing and mentoring a multi-disciplinary site team personnel, including subcontractors, supervisors, etc.

Communication& Stakeholder Management:

·       Serving as the primary point of contact for the client, building trust, managing expectations, and resolving issues proactively.

·       Driving business development opportunities by nurturing client relationships and identifying scope for future works.

Scheduling & Cost Control:

·       Overseeing schedule, budget, risk, and quality across concurrent project work streams.

·       Reporting to senior leadership with clear, commercially focused project updates.

Quality & Compliance:

·       Ensure projects meet client specifications.

·       Oversee quality documentation, inspections and reporting.

·       Support completion of project documentation and handover packages.

WHS & Site Coordination:

·       Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all projects.

·       Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS and site procedures.

·       Coordinate site activities where required.

 Skills & Experience

·       Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering projects.

·       Exposure to shutdowns, maintenance campaigns or sustaining capital works.

·       Strong stakeholder management across operations and contractor groups.

·       Highly process-driven, structured and detail-oriented.

·       Strong understanding of project controls (budgeting, scheduling, forecasting).

·       Proficient in MS Project and SAP (or similar systems).

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced site environment.

·       Strong commitment to safety leadership and compliance.

·       Proven experience delivering projects in remote locations.

·       Experience administering contracts, managing variations, claims, procurement, and subcontractor performance.

·       Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
