Early Years Officer

You will make an impact by 

• Prepare and process invoices for kindergarten service providers and facility hirers of child and family centres. 
• Coordinate maintenance requests for Early Years facilities and ensure matters are appropriately followed up and escalated. 
• Support operational projects, reporting requirements and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery. 
• Process kindergarten registrations and associated administrative processes with accuracy and efficiency. 
• Provide responsive and professional support to families and stakeholders through the central kindergarten registration system. 

What you will bring 

• Demonstrated experience providing high-quality administrative and customer service support in a busy and agile environment. 
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, service providers and internal stakeholders. 
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record management, invoicing and business systems administration. 
• Well-developed problem-solving skills, including the ability to triage enquiries, coordinate follow-up actions and escalate issues when required. 
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, industry qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a similar role. 
• A current Victorian Driver Licence and a current Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
