Located in the heart of Chelsea, we are a family-owned, 4-chair practice with a strong passion for helping our community achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. We are seeking a dental assistant with a strong passion for customer care to join our dental family. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong work-ethic who will thrive within our vibrant and team-orientated dental practice in a professional environment. The position is effective immediately.

Candidates must be Australian permanent residents to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Providing chair-side assistance – general dentistry, implants, orthodontic aligners, extractions, whitening, endodontics, room preparation and changeover.

· Maintaining of Steri and Clinic – knowledge of Australian infection control standards is a must as well as instrument maintenance duties.

· General reception – building strong rapport with patients, invoicing accounts, managing appointments, answering phones, handling confidential documents, clear communication with patients and clinical staff.

Minimum 1-2 years of dental nursing experience is required for this role.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, an applicant will ideally possess some of the following:

· A full understanding of infection control procedures and tracking systems

· A strong and thorough knowledge of dental procedures

· Excellent organisational skills along with a positive can-do attitude

· Strong communication and relationship skills

· An outgoing and friendly demeanour

· Strong time management skills and teamwork

· Well-developed clinical and administrative skill set
