About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Mobile Plant Fitter to join our in-house Maintenance Team. Based at our Hallam site, you will work across a range of fixed and mobile plant machinery, vehicles, trucks and everything in between.

This is a permanent (Day Shift), full-time role with overtime.

Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform minor and major repairs on mobile plant and fixed plant machinery, vehicles, trucks and everything in between.
• Conduct safety checks to ensure vehicles and equipment are roadworthy
• Carry out regular preventative maintenance on vehicles, mobile plant, and fixed plant machinery
• Service all mobile plant and fixed plant machinery and vehicles as per the scheduled program
• Follow safe operation procedures and report any damage or loss
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Report vehicle breakdowns or unavailability to Manager
• Complete all paperwork for all repairs or services

About You

• Diesel mechanic/mobile plant fitter qualification (or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Own tools required (up to ½ inch) specialist tools provided
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to complete pre-employment checks (national police check, medical, etc.)
• Flexibility to work overtime and outside regular hours as needed
