Ceilings by Design is one of Queensland's most established building materials suppliers, with more than 30 years supplying hospitals, schools, office and retail fit-outs across QLD. The Morningside team of around 25 works from a purpose-built facility designed to support the business's ongoing growth. About the Role
Join the internal sales team at Morningside and own the trade enquiry pipeline from first contact through to quote delivery. If you've got experience in construction, building materials or trade supply or you're simply drawn to that world and want to build a career in it this is a supportive environment to do exactly that.

You'll work alongside an experienced internal and external sales team, building product knowledge and customer relationships from day one. No tools required. No cold calls. Full training provided.

Duties

• Manage inbound trade enquiries from builders, contractors, project managers and internal stakeholders
• Prepare accurate project quotes and pricing using estimating software
• Process sales orders and coordinate delivery schedules
• Support external sales representatives with quote preparation and customer follow-up
• Build and maintain relationships with repeat project clients, finding the right product solution for each job

Skills & Experience

• Background or genuine interest in construction, building materials or trade supply — you understand (or want to learn) how builders and contractors work
• Sharp attention to detail — quoting accuracy matters, every time
• Confident communicator, comfortable with walk-in and phone enquiries
• A solutions mindset — you enjoy finding the right product fit for a customer's project, not just processing an order
• Quick to pick up new systems and processes
• Team-oriented, reliable, and happy in a varied, hands-on day
