Bartender - Lounge Bar

We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join Doma's Lounge Bar, situated on Honeysuckle Drive in our beautiful Little National Newcastle in a casual capacity.

About the Role:

Working in a fun and lively environment, the Bartender will be responsible for creating little moments for guests that will keep them coming back for more. We are seeking a warm and welcoming personality, a passion and the ability to create surprising and memorable experiences and share great local knowledge. This role will include taking orders, serving guests, taking payment and register operation.

Naturally, your previous experience in a similar role, within a luxury hospitality setting, will come highly regarded. As will the following:  

• A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate

• A sound ‘all-round’ beverage and cocktail knowledge 

• Must have at least 3 years bartending and cocktail experience

• Ability to manage time/priorities

• Motivation to build strong rapport with guests and colleagues through effective communication

• Excellent personal presentation and presence

• Willingness and ability to exceed expectations

• A passion for food, beverage and hospitality 

• Availability to work varying shifts including evenings/nights and weekends
