We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced finance professionals who are called to serve in this role. This is an opportunity to contribute to our Finance department, enabling us to continue to serve this school community. This is a full-time fixed term contract from end September 2026 to September 2027 to provide parental leave cover.
There will be opportunities for professional development and mentorship.
The successful applicant will:
· actively demonstrate a commitment to promote the objectives and ethos of Christian Education as articulated in the Vision and Mission of the School.
· be a Christian, belong to a church and called to this ministry.
Your typical day will involve:
· Maintaining the billing systems, including TASS, MYOB and SchoolPro.
· Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
· Performing account reconciliations and other financial transactions.
· Recording and processing invoices, receipts, and account statements.
· Maintaining accurate accounts receivable records and files.
· Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
· Investigating and resolving account discrepancies, irregularities, and enquiries.
· Providing general accounts office duties and administrative support.
Selection Criteria:
· Certificate, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
· Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping functions.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically.
· Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Professional and courteous manner when representing the School to parents, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
· Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· High level of self-motivation and initiative.
· Knowledge of TASS and MYOB would be an advantage
