Yard Supervisor

RPR Trades is currently seeking a highly experienced Yard Supervisor / Leading Hand with extensive background in crane operations, rigging, and heavy equipment within large-scale construction and resources projects.

Ideal candidate will bring 10+ years’ industry experience, including leadership of multi-discipline crane crews, strong safety and compliance focus, and hands-on operational capability.

Must hold a broad range of High-Risk Work Licences, ideally including Tower Crane (CT), Rigging (RI), Dogging (DG), Forklift (LF), Mobile Cranes (CN/C1/C6), EWP (>11m), plus HR driver’s licence, White Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space, and First Aid, MSIC highly regarded.

Proven experience in:

• Supervising yard or site-based crane and lifting operations
• Planning and allocating daily work, equipment, and labour
• Managing permits, paperwork, toolbox talks, and compliance
• Liaising with clients, superintendents, and internal stakeholders
• Leading teams in high-pressure environments and resolving issues proactively

Strong leadership style, safety-driven, highly organised, and capable of being the key operational problem-solver in a busy yard or project environment. Solid computer literacy (MS Office) preferred.
